After years of longing, founder Jake Polledri seized the unexpected opportunity during the 2020 pandemic to explore his other love, cider!
On 14th November 2020, Jake experienced a devasting knee injury while playing rugby for Italy, which left him partially paralyzed. Being out of “the game” can lead many players to go into a dark place, especially when the recovery is uncertain or predicted to be years away.
The Gloucester Rugby fans and supporters of Just Pressed Cider were invaluable. The unwavering encouragement fuelled Jake’s mindset and focus.
