Chateau Bellecroix Bordeaux Superieur
Description
Chateau Bellecroix is a small estate situated just south of the city of Bordeaux on the left bank which technically places it in the Graves region. This is a Cabernet Sauvignon dominnated area and it shows in the blend: 70% Cabernet 30% Merlot. The beauty of the Graves though is that the fruit tends to ripen a little better than further north in the Medoc so the wines are silkier in texture. Smooth redcurrant and blackberry fruit flavours abound this medium weight wine and a hint of freshly ground black pepper on the finish makes for a very pleasurable everyday Bordeaux red.
